This is the third draft on my music video, I have added a lot more footage and developed the music video further. It now fits the timing of the song, as there is enough shots to fit the time schedule.
I continued to use Final Cut pro to develop my music video further. I used tools such as importing videos, inserting them into the timelines and cropping them to the appropriate size that I required. I also used the colour effect tools, to adjust the colouring of some shots. As I wanted to provide a contrast between the first and the second half of the video. I used the colour, saturation and exposure settings as featuring in the screenshot, in order to edit and adjust the brightness of the shots. This visually improved it, as the photographs and movements where much clearer.
I inserted all of my new footage onto the timeline, as I need to film some extra shots to inset into the video in order to ensure that there was enough moving image in proportion to the timing. I also inserted the song at the bottom, therefore the song can play whilst I am editing and I can adjust scenes to particular lyrics.
I also wanted to ensure that there was a direct distinction between the poor girl and the rich girl, therefore I put the shots of the poor girl at the beginning to establish to narrative, then finished off with a "happy ending" with the rich girl featuring in the second half. Also, I added shots with words on such as "Let's Unite" in order to establish the idea further.
I had to reach an ending, therefore I put the words "The End" at the end of the video to add clarity. But, I also had to add appropriate shots to indicate that the video was ending. Therefore, I had shots of my cast members eyes opening and closing, therefore it made it clear that something was coming to an end. I also put these in slow motion, in order to show the slowing down of the video.
