Textual and LIIAR Analysis

My first analysis was based on Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire, I focused on the main aspects such as language, ideology, institution, audience and representation, I also interpreted sections such as mise-en-scene, sound, editing and cinematography in order to provide a full analysis.

My second analysis was based on Ed Sheeran - Give me Love. I approached the analysis of the song in a similar way to the above video. Although, I chose a very different genre, as this allowed me to have more of an insight to what particular conventions particular music videos have.



My third analysis was based on Kesha - Your Love Is My Drug, I applied on the same analysing techniques onto this video, but I chose Pop/Dance music, as the other two vary from this. I got the chance to look at different aspects of different genres such as editing and mise-en-scene.
